Solar Panels
When it comes to choosing solar panels, we want to make your choice as easy and convenient as possible.
If you're still in research stages, we've come up with a list of the most popular and trusted brands in the current industry to get you started. Most panels come with a minimum 15 year product warranty and a 25 year performance warranty.
Solar Panels We Recommend
Solar panels are all very similar in design and their efficiency. A typical home will have around 14-15 panels installed.
The panels above are some of the most well known and trusted brands in Australia.
If we don’t have the solar panel you are after - we may be able to order them.
All panels must meet Australian standards and be approved by the 'Clean Energy Council of Australia' (CEC).
Prices may vary depending on the choice of panel.
Additional Resources
Polycrystalline solar panels have a blue coloured cell and are made up of multiple silicon crystals melted together.
They are usually less efficient, but cheaper in price. Polycrystalline are rare in the new updated solar panels.
Monocrystalline solar panels have black coloured solar cells and are made using single silicon crystal. They have higher efficiency and come at a higher price (Most popular panel type)
Half cell mono panels are Monocrystalline and have their silicon crystal cut in half. This doubles the amount of cells on a solar panel, in turn lowering the resistance, which means more energy is captured and produced - around 1% more efficient.
Bifacial solar panel transforms sunlight into electrical energy on both top and bottom sides. They are different from monofacial solar panels which only use one side for solar energy production.
Most often seen in shopping centre carparks or Ground mounted sytems.
